Supporting community groups through drumMUSTER
At drumMUSTER, we’re proud to support community groups across Australia in their fundraising efforts while promoting sustainable recycling. Currently, more than 140 community groups are involved in the drumMUSTER program, having collected over 5 million AgVet containers and raised more than $1.2 million.
These groups include local charities, rural fire authorities, service clubs, school support groups, sporting clubs, and Landcare groups.
How it works
Here’s what’s involved in joining the program:
1. Train
Once your community group’s inspector application is approved, members will receive comprehensive training in drumMUSTER’s inspection processes. This training covers proper handling, cleanliness, inspection, storage procedures, and reporting.
2. Inspect
When farmers and growers bring their AgVet containers to a drumMUSTER collection site, your trained inspectors will assess each container to ensure it meets recycling standards.
3. Earn
Your group will earn a fee for each container that passes inspection.
Collection agency agreements must be signed with Agsafe, and all participating groups need public liability insurance and an ABN.
If your community group is interested in partnering with drumMUSTER, contact Agsafe for more information.
