ChemClear surpasses milestone: Removes over 1 million litres/kilograms of unused chemicals from Australian farms

ChemClear, Australia's leading chemical waste management program run by Agsafe, proudly announces a significant milestone, having successfully removed over 1 million litres/kilograms of unused chemicals from farms across the country. Established in 2003, ChemClear has been at the forefront of environmentally responsible chemical disposal, providing essential services to farmers and agricultural communities.

Since its inception, ChemClear has consistently demonstrated its commitment to environmental stewardship by facilitating collections in each state and territory. The program's strategic approach involves conducting main state collections approximately every two years, ensuring regular opportunities for farmers to safely dispose of unused or obsolete AgVet chemicals.

ChemClear's impact extends beyond routine collections, as the program has collaborated with farmers and state governments to provide specialised collections in the aftermath of natural disasters such as floods and cyclones. In December 2023, ChemClear achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing the collection of over 1 million litres/kilograms of unused chemicals.
